How do I take CBD?

Drops

Administering CBD oil sublingually is a quicker way to activate its effects. When taken sublingually, CBD oil is absorbed through the blood vessels beneath the tongue, bypassing the digestive system and transferring directly to the bloodstream. While oral ingestion of CBD oil can take up to 30 minutes to two hours to take full effect, sublingual administration of CBD oil can provide relief in as little as 5 to 20 minutes. Sublingual CBD may be ideal for pain, migraines, and acute stress.

Vape

Inhaling CBD oil through vaping offers the quickest means of delivering the compound to the body and experiencing beneficial effects. Vaping works quickly because it enters the bloodstream directly through the lungs. Effects can be felt about 5 to 10 minutes after inhaling CBD.

Creams, Balms, Gels…

Applying CBD topically to the skin is a good method if CBD is being used for its anti-inflammatory effects. The effects of CBD can last longer as it is absorbed through the skin over time.

Gummies, capsules, tablets…

Ingesting CBD is an easy and convenient way to take CBD. It will take longer to feel the effects using this method because the CBD oil needs to be digested first. It takes about 1 hour to feel the effects but this can vary depending on whether it was taken on an empty stomach or with other foods etc….

How much should I take?

The ideal dosage depends on a lot of factors such as your body weight, the reason you are taking CBD and the concentration of CBD in the product you are taking.

Start with a small dosage and increase slowly until you reach your desired effect.

It is not possible to overdose on CBD. Your liver will simply remove any excess in your system.
